Adolf Frohner

*1934   +2007  

Frohner was a participant in Vienna Actionism from 1962, along with Hermann Nitsch and Otto Mühl. 1969 São Paulo Art Biennial. 1972 Grand Austrian State Prize. A recurring subject in his drawings, panel paintings and his paintings is violence, often shown as bound women, who are the subjects of the violence.
