Georg Dienz

*1964 lives and works in Berlin

He studied at the Technical College of Applied Arts in Innsbruck 1982-86 and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna under Maria Lassnig 1986-90. His paintings show scenes from everyday life and peaceful scenes with idyllic families. These are transformed into classical compositions on a monumental scale, and it is often only when viewed from a distance that they come together to form a enthralling picture.
