Tone Fink

*1944   lives and works in Vienna and Vorarlberg

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Max Weiler and Maximilian Melcher. Drawing, painting, making objects, performance and film art. A constant of his work is ‘drawing’, which the artist expands into substantial objects, films and performances. The strange and ritualised movements of his performances are reminiscent of the tradition of absurdist theatre. (KUB)

Discover our Collection

Discover the almost 1,200 works in our constantly growing collection in our online database. In the future, the collection will be expanded primarily through the purchases of current contemporary art associated with the art prizes. However, the jury will also recommend annual purchases to the Board of Directors to supplement the existing holdings of recent Tyrolean art history.
