Ein reiner Biedermann, 1966

He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Adolf Schinnerer and Olaf Gulbransson 1942-44. Drawing, caricature, graphics and illustrations. With his unmistakable pen technique, he created caricatures with fine outlines – he produced weekly political illustrations for Die Zeit 1957-71, which he later developed into two-dimensional, extremely composed images in shades of grey.
