In his lecture "Not too much is almost enough", Ernst Caramelle talks about his life, his experiences and gives an insight into his work.
The artist Ernst Caramelle was born in Hall in Tyrol in 1952 and lives and works in Frankfurt am Main and New York City. He studied at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. From 1994, he was a professor at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, which he also chaired as Rector from 2012 to 2018.In 1990, for example, he took part in the Sydney Biennale, and in 1992 in Documenta IX in Kassel. In 2022, he was awarded the Klocker Foundation Art Prize.

Special Event
The city of Hall will once again open its doors as part of Haller Nightseeing 2025 to present its visitors with new and unknown things.
The Klocker Museum will also be taking part. The museum will additionally remain open until 11 p.m. Short guided tours through our exhibitions are offered at 7:00 | 8:00 & 9:00 pm.
