Temporary Exhibition
I am my own muse
05.04. - 31.08.2025

How do women perceive themselves? And how are they seen in a society characterised by patriarchal structures? These questions are at the centre of the group exhibition ‘I am my own muse’, which brings together multi-layered artistic positions. The works presented scrutinise traditional role models, break with stereotypical ideas and deal with social norms. With a strong, self-confident visual language, the artists not only address the construction of femininity, but also the visibility of women in the art world. Often taboo subjects are addressed in order to open up new perspectives on being a woman and to question common narratives.
