*1954  

Lechner studied at the Vocational School for Opticians and Photographers in Hall, Tyrol 1979-80 and in the masterclass photography in Vienna 1982-83. Reflection, in all senses of the word, is the basis of his artistic approach to photography, both in the formal structure of a subject and tapping into its various pictorial spaces, his subjects can always be seen from different points of view.
