Lukas Posch

*1988   lives and works in Vienna

He studied fine arts, painting, animated film, transmedia art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna and fine arts at the University of Newcastle. Posch drives the question of how to react to the accelerated production and hypercirculation of images with the means of painting and how to act within these image economies of technocapitalism. He is particularly interested in the invasive arousal effects of the digital on the body and psyche of the individual.
