Leonard Lorenz

*1948   lives and works in Neufahrn bei Hohenschäftlarn

Lorenz studied sculpture in Elbigenalp in Tyrol 1964-68 and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Hans Ladner 1970-76. Through his early engagement with the figurative, Lorenz developed an incisive sculptural vocabulary. He is not interested in expressing humanity as simple reproductions in portraits, but instead he wants to visualise an internalisation.
