"In my work I investigate the question of the spaces in which we move: in foreign and self-made, in real and virtual architectures, in external and internal, in physical and psychological spaces. What social changes and technologies are used for to shape and influence these spaces. When do new spatial forms appear or disappear again from our lives. Rooms are usually containers for life situations. Life takes place in the rooms. In my objects and installations, the rooms themselves become protagonists and begin to tell of their own accord what happens or does not happen in them." (Oppl)
