Aron Demetz

*1972   lives and works in Selva

He studied at the art school in Wolkenstein in South Tyrol and then the Academy of Applied Art in Nuremberg under Christian Höpfner in 1997-98. 2009 Italian Pavillion at the Venice Biennale. Demetz focusses on the human figure and contemporary people, who he depicts in the poses of antique portraiture.
