Drawing, caricature and paintings. Thöny produced over 3,000 caricatures for Simplicissimus magazine. He favoured drawings in ink and opaque white, overworked with charcoal and pencil. In his painting, his images of hunting scenes and riding exhibited a Post-Impressionism.
